Oonagh visited Malekula Island where these beans come from in February 2024 and fell in love with the amazing Vanuatu Cacao growing communities and how much Vanuatu embodies the heart of the Pacific Islands. The Cacao Beans from these communities are shipped to New Zealand by Rautini and stone ground for 24 hours at our Cacao Embassy in Christchurch. This paste is soft, easeful, and soothes the nervous system. And as always, we only source from Cacao farming communities where we have connected and conducted village trainings, showing the Cacao growing communities how to have their own cacao first.
